This past Tuesday, Associate Leadership Council members from Braselton, Athens and Gainesville gathered at the Tanglewood Lodge in Helen, Georgia for two days of teambuilding and goal setting.  The energy was contagious and the synergy was palpable.

We spent Tuesday night getting to know each other on a whole new level.  Each person shared personal stories about their first jobs and marriage proposals and laughter filled the air!  Then, we turned to our dreams…each person shared their “Big Why” and their big dreams for their future.  This was one of my favorite moments!  We finished up the night with S’mores and just sitting around the fire talking and laughing.

Wednesday morning started bright and early with a Vision Speech by our fearless leader, Keith Cook.  Then, we spent hours creating action plans for achieving that vision. 

Our Southeast Region Director, Cheryl Sadoti, made an appearance and led through a powerful goal setting session that helped everyone fine-tune their goals and get clarity on what we each want to achieve as individuals and as a market center.  Cheryl closed her presentation with a great story about how her son, Nick, and how he was able to achieve a personal victory of his own.   Cheryl stuck around for lunch and we got to hear about her first job and marriage proposal.  Thank you, Cheryl, for taking time out of your busy schedule to invest in our lives!

We closed our retreat Wednesday afternoon with an exercise that left us feeling focused and empowered to break through our fears and achieve our goals and dreams.  Keith led us through a series of visualization and focus drills that helped each of us break through a board that symbolized our greatest fear and limiting beliefs.  This was a high-energy, emotional moment I may never forget!  You can watch the video of this at:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZe1Ha3acDU

I drove away from the Tanglewood Lodge renewed and inspired by the amazing leaders in our offices and their commitment to their goals.  I cannot wait to see what we accomplish next year as individuals and as a team!  Hold on to your seats KW!
